I'm actually going to be there this year, and skate, and it will be awesome, and yeah. And now I want to go skate again, even though it's dark and cold, and I skated earlier, and I'm ranting. END.

you don't need full leathers. if you want to be cheap, get a carhart jacket or leather jacket, some kneepads and thick jean pants. most important part is a full-face brain bucket. that and the ability to safely slow down and stop at 35-40mph.

and yes the video of ryan's wipeout is pretty good. end result of that was a broken pinkie finger, swollen hand and lots of road rash. lesson: don't pump on the flat bottom of a ditch.

I might take your word on that, I trust you. I can footbrake and slide to a stop easily at those speeds. I should be getting a full-face soon. That makes me happy, I won't have to spend a ton of money!
