    Default Sia 2009

We wanted to give everyone in the forums a chance to see what happened at SIA this year.

People that where walking by our booth had to stop to see the Veloz trucks. Every time we took them out to show how they worked, we had a ton of people surround and check them out. The drop through version of the Veloz trucks have been ordered and when you see them you will pee your pants.

I bet you cant guess who was right next to us can you.

Someone (I wonder who!) tagged our booth at Surf Expo this year. We at INSANE ASYLUM feel it is our good luck charm. We don't mind having the best mag in the biz(Concrete wave) at our booth!

    Here is our killer booth.

Literally, when we were taking the booth apart at the end, one of the metal beams fell out of its place and hit Charles in the head. He got a nice trip to the local hospital and some hack gave him 4 staples. Thanks Las Vegas!

What's funny is the crew got these sweet helmets from Capix 5 minutes before the booth fell apart. Thanks anyway!! Charles wore the helmet for the car ride home.

The freaks come out at night. We must have seen this bunny like 8,343,945,467,567 times over the 4 days of the show. For some reason the only thing we heard the bunny say was "that's how I roll" only after running over our feet.

Well that is our quick version of SIA.

They are our prototypes that we had machined out of aluminum. They look cool huh. We will have more of them around April for all of the public.

You can check out the site. Insane Asylum Longboards I might be able to find some more of the trucks close up.

We changed our design on the trucks to they wont look like this. We made them fit a drop-through deck so they are a lot slimmer. We had a lot of feedback on the message boards and decided to use what they said they wanted. So here it is.

We have used the x-truck a lot this last summer and winter, we think that you will like the way it feels. I have been using it on a slightly shorter board and love it a lot. If you try the truck and think that it should be smaller in size, we will revisit the engineer and let him know.

sk8norcal - where are you from?

Dude, the Rehab board is way cool. We want to make some more drop-through decks, they are way sexy. We have some really cool ideas that we want to use. If you want to have some input, let me know.
