Sector 9 "9 Star" Preview (Pics etc...)

The majority of people who buy stock S9 completes won't be able to notice or appreciate the difference between Randal, Paris, or GullWing trucks. Hell, there are plenty of people riding stock S9 completes that will never even adjust their trucks.

I was one of thems around a year ago . Then I bought a skate tool, joined the 'fish, ordered some randals, and found out that my stock alpines sucked as well as most of the components on my complete. However, everyone has to start somewhere .

Anyways to contribute, I agree with whoever said not wide enough.

This deck looks like Calista Flockhart: way too skinny, and probably not that fun to ride.

looks quite alot like the lush kilima, but narrower. 8.5 is well narrow, what an odd dimension.

what is its purpose? ie whats it designed to do?

I'm learning how to skate switch on it

And ive taken it close to 40, definitely doable but somewhat uncomfortable with how narrow it is. Its more fun for screwing around in tight corners (concave holds your feet in even if it is narrow) and just cruising, since its pretty light.

S9 has made five boards i would ever actually pay to own (potentially)

- original series comsic carver
- kamikaze
-kommi
-s9 race
-this^^^

i would add the BH sketch, but seeing as the only flushed it for their own trucks...i have no interest.

this on the other hand, could be entertaining....

And the Wedge.
It's actually a decent board, I think it's constructed of aspen and mahogany with biaxial fiberglass.

Those are really the only S9 wheels I like. All their other ones feel dead and kind of sluggish.

Yea but just because one set of s9 wheels doesn't suck doesn't mean in general they have very crappy wheels

pics show drop through, other thread says flush, and sector 9 says top. WTF
