yes, separate the hanger from the baseplate, then bp goes on top and hanger goes on bottom

I would recommend the bullet. The bullet is basically a re-named kommi. It is wider at 10-1/4 and a bit more stout. Will hold up better in hard corners or under heavy riders. Not as well as a Landyachtz though.

I am not going to argue with you about the trucks. I took a dremmel and made slight modifications to my kommi in order to use randal trucks instead of the gullwing.
As for wheels, it depends on the wheels. I have a set of 81mm race formula in 78a and a set of 81mm 9-balls in 75. For downhill even with reasonably tight curves. I think these are the bomb. Big and soft..... extra grippy too... I got caught in a line that had me run over one of those waffle man hole covers at 45mph.... thought I was going to die.... cruised right over..... But, if you are a slider, these wheels probably don't work too well.
I can't comment too much on the rest of the wheels other than too say that I see a few that make no sense to me. A 54mm 78a wheel? is there even a purpose for that? I think they make a lot of wheels that are for the masses that don't know any better. Big and soft for speed and grip especially on rougher asphalt and, smaller and harder for sliding seem to be the best..... I'd say, if you don't know about the effects of durometer and size on a wheel and you just go buy something that looks cool, you may not get what you want. Sector 9 is a business and they make the wheels that look cool for those that don't know any better. So, they can sell product. But, if you know what you are looking for, they may just have something for you. I'd like to hear from any sliders that found any sector 9 wheels they liked...

hey i just traded my carvestik for a kommi, you say you have 81mm s9 race and 9 balls, is that on your kommi or another board cause mine has 70mm s9 race and i changed out the bushings to khiro 79a(good for my weight like 115lbs) but if there on your kommi do the randals help with wheel bite because if put my full weight on one side of the trucks my wheels touch the deck but thats a full tilt with weight on a single truck but 75mm im pretty sure ill get wheel bite carving.

Re: Sector 9 "9 Star" Preview (Pics etc...)
hee hee just to continue this from the other thread, indies will extend the wheelbase making for less wheelbite I do not know the difference between charger and randal lean or wheelbase though

Consider making some Prandals! Paris hanger with randal baseplate or vice versa. I swear by it. I have double coned bushings on my Paris 180 hangar/50 degree randal baseplate setup with cupped washers and I've taken it 30-40mph no problem.
The 9 Star unfortunately doesn't have cutouts in the dropthrough hole to allow Bear 852's/1052's/1040's, Randal R-II 150's/180's, or Crails, so what you can do is match up Paris baseplates with Randal 180 Hangars and it fits nice and snug. Great strong and stable baseplate with a dependable Paris hangar works wonders. Or you can buy Paris 190mm trucks.

NOPE!!!
the gullwing sidewinders are some of the best trucks you can buy.
check em out.
im not tryin to be an ass or anything, but i ride these trucks and there is nothing like them. everything else i have rode is overshadowed by these.
you should ride them some time.

Re: Sector 9 "9 Star" Preview (Pics etc...)
Yo I had this for my first "real board" and it's pretty good. After a year, part of the nose ripped off and I sold it and got a 9two5. The 9two5 is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better.

it's that much better? my friends is great. the narrowness plus concave feels weird at first but your feet adjust. it feels good in a tuck. my friend uses it for freeriding stuff.
the 9two5 looks sweet though. his nose is kinda breaking but a bunch of high speed curbages tend to do that. it's actually held up pretty well.
why yes, my avatar is a picture of sector 9 ceramic bearings. why isn't yours? please neg rep me if you haven't already.
I HAVE LOTS AND LOTS OF FICTIONAL SKATEBOARDS. THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Re: Sector 9 "9 Star" Preview (Pics etc...)
Well I kinda over exaggerated that. lol.
I just didn't like freeriding on the 9 star since the back end is so small and its not symmetrical.
But still, the 9two5 is better IMO.
