Default Trucks are creaking and groaning?

I got my KS scimitar yesterday and love it. I only have one complaint, the rubber where the trucks go in creaks and squeak pretty loud whenever I turn. Any tips to stop this?

Put soap or graphite shavings in the pivot cup before you put your hanger in there. Also if you search, there are probably over 100 threads that answer this question.... just saying.

Skate faster and the squeaking stops. It's the trucks complaining you ride too slow.

When he says soap he means Bar soap, no like gel soap. Just an FYI after adding the graphite or soap the board will carve a bit looser.

As for the pivot cup, I just rub the pivot tip around on a bar of soap and insert.

Here's the thing. The noise most likely isn't entirely from your trucks, if at all. Although you should still soap the pin.

KS decks tend to creak because of that plate on top. Once you've soaped your pivot pins, if you still hear creaking, then you know what it is. The board isn't about to break and it's just an annoyance. After riding for awhile it'll almost be gone. You might also disassemble and rub soap on the bottom of them plates. A little guy I was letting ride my Scimmy last summer finally looked up and said that noise must be why it's called Kracked Skulls.
