Exclamation I know its been done but Apex 37 Carbon?????

I've read most of the posts even the one where the vendetta just demolished the tan tien and the apex. Im just looking for a board ive been on the Carbon 37 and its pretty chill and ive been on the tan tien i kinda like the apex a bit more

But what would be a better ride i want to bomb and slide down hills, carve and do some flat land riding..but what would be the best board??? the vendetta just seems super wide and weird lol idk how it handles and ive never gotten my hands on a bc eel

ive been google-ing my ass off can someone please help?!?!?!

The vendetta is 'weird' compared to those boards because its wider, giving u better leverage over trucks and more meat for you feet. It also has a great concave, so it really locks you in for standied and slides. Its also much stiffer for better control during slides and pretty much any manoevre. Vendetta is going to kcik both apex and tan tien in the ass when it comes to faster speeds and freeriding. The tan tien probably has better kick tails for flatland tricks. The apex is ok, not really recomended unless you dont go with original trucks. In which case it still won't really be recomended much.

Hmmm that is true...ive only been into longboards for a few months now, so i guess after finding new boards its been alot about style and what not. Never would have thought that about the apex what makes it so "eh"?? Ill give the vendetta a shot see how it goes

Seems like a decent enough board. Not a fan of the price though... The vendetta is much more versatile.

How is the Tan Tien with randall 180 trucks when it comes to turning compared to the S8 trucks from original on an Apex 37 carbon? I unfortunately don't have a chance of trying the Tan Tien caus none of my friends got it but I've tried the Apex and it's a great board but sometimes the trucks almost turn too well... I would like to do some tricks and sliding but not care to much for riding big hills and stuff, should I then go with the Tan Tien for some tricks and cruising or?
(Sorry for writing this on your thread but idk how to make a new one and just wanted to ask this question :P )

I have the apex 37 with bear trucks on it and it is a fun board. It is fine enough but the camber and the lack of concave make it fine for carving, cruising, freestyle and some sliding but if you are going to really be getting into freeriding and doing dh then I don't suggest it. Especially for the price.
