Default Recommended solid hardwood/exotic wood decks?

Was looking at the websites for Plank, Honey, Foiledconcepts, Bigwave, etc. longboard deck manufacturers - really beautiful craftsmanship BUT with the high prices to match.

Any recommendations for solid hardwood decks using some exotic woods at a better price point than those above?

I can only think of PressureDrop - any comments on those? CLB seems to have gotten out of the solid H/W decks. Maybe Longboards by Fatboy - although they seem to concentrate on bamboo slalom boards now....

    Any others ?

Also whats the difference btwn the Revenge Alpha II torsion trucks and Exkate torsion trucks for a long cruiser (hopefully built from laminated wenge, padauk and zebra wood )

    Thanks

no need to stick with just hardwoods, consider veneers also.
    i do

(ribbon sawn mahogany on the outer edges, walnut on the center)
if you want a vertical lamination deck, make it yourself if youve got access to a reasonable woodshop and some woodworking skill.

Thanks - nice veneers but I'm leaning toward solid. No woodworking skills or tools. Thanks. Anyone else?
