    Default Longboard crack fix?

There is a crack on one of the layers of my board, its at the edge of of the board. Is there a way to seal the crack? would wood glue hold it together maybe? any thing? or is it better to ride it till it just snaps? I ride a Legendary Demon.

I plan on getting a nose guard for it, Just don't have the money.

The crack is on the right side, going downwards, its the small line you see there.

A few questions that will help people answer your question.

    -How big is the crack?
    -How was it caused?
-Is it a vertical crack or the plys of your deck separating?
-Where on the rail is it? Front? back? middle?

Answer those and you will get more refined answers from other users.

The plys are separating, I think you can see it in the pic.

oh hell... I read the title of this thread and thought something COMPLETELY different... maybe it's because I generally gloss over any use of the word "Longboard" because it's used so often.

Titebond 2 or 3 and a couple c clamps will fix it.

Squirt some glue in there and clamp it down for about 24 hours.

Lots of nose hits in the past few weeks that seemed to have done in a few legendary boards. My advise is stay away from walls.

You need to set the photo to Public on Facebook if you want people here to see it. It seems to be Private right now.

Anyway, if a car snapped your board, then it's usually trashed. There's always a possibility that it can be repaired, but frankly, if you have to ask if it can be repaired, it's unlikely that you'll be able to repair it. (And anyone who could actually repair it would probably charge you as much as a new board)

Titebond 3 is great for laminating during construction but epoxy with fumed silica filler is the way to go for delam repairs. As was said, use C-clamps.

Ive also found some small cracks around the bolt holes in my drop through killswitch, I've tried filling them in with epoxy and wood goo but both dry too hard and have cracked under pressure when riding. Just wondering what is a good sealant/coat that i can apply over these cracks. (cracks are about 1-2 cm long.)
