Looking for a carvy, flexy complete for around $200

For reference: I'm 5'10" and 140 lbs. No problem buying used. First longboard. Don't want to go much over $200

Ideally I'd want the Apex 37 but I've grown tired of waiting.

What are some good setups for cruising/carving down small hills and flatland?

Would the Rayne Timeline be too short for me? There is a cheap one in the f/s forum.

How would a Legendary Demon with Bennett 6.0s and 78a standard Venom bushings be?

Legendary makes Great boards! I have the knight and the construction is excellent! I would expect the demon to fit your bill pretty good! Cant say about the bennett's never ridden them.

I would also advise you to take a look at never summer. I have the Decent, its an awesome flexy carver! The Heist looks pretty sick as well if you think you would prefer a drop-through board.

a great board for you would probably be the never summer heist. If you order from the right sites, it can end up being under $200. The flex would be perfect for your weight, and it carves like a dream.

Also if you want to go a teensy bit over budget look at the Rayne Hustler, but for what you want I think the Heist would be a perfect fit.

Gbomb? They sell for $240 on their site but you can probably piece your own together for a bit less, absolute fun to ride around. Did I forget to say, it has some nice bouncy flex that feels great coming into and out of a carve or throwing a hard pump.

Actual standing area is 25 inches (the platform) with a nice camber/mellow concave and the metal brackets on the end extend out to 36 inches, a perfect size between a longer deck and a mini.

I have a legendary demon and I love it, it is my favorite flexy, cruisy, carver board that i have ridden.

Bennets are also awesome carving trucks (much better than originals)

well sometimes its hard to find info with the search function thats specific to you. yes, he could have found plenty of reviews on the timeline, but maybe he couldnt find anything for his size/weight
