Which board should I get?
I've been looking for a while and I like the sector 9 Joel Tudor longboard and the sector 9 scarab. I already have a longboard that is good for sidewalk surfing. I'm looking for a higher speed carving board and bombing small hills. I rode my friend's sector 9 bamboo pipeline and I didn't like the feel of it. I'm not sure if it was the board itself, or the length of it. I was also looking at the sector 9 grinder, but i've narrowed it down and i think i won't get that one. thanks for the help.

Re: Which board should I get?
Out of those first two Sec9's the Scarab is going to be better for what you want to do since it has a bit longer of a wheelbase. I'd recommend something with around a 29" wheelbase. It'll still be nice for carving, but be long enough to take up to some good speeds. Earthwing makes some pretty sick boards ( The new Supercharger, Boomerang ) How much are you looking to spend and what kind of speeds do you think you'll be hitting?

Re: Which board should I get?
According to Daddies Board Shop: Snowboard and Longboard Skateboard Shop: Sector 9 Longboards, Loaded Longboards, Never Summer Snowboards, Gravity Skateboards, Salomon Snowboards, Rome Snowboards, Landyachtz Longboard Skateboards, Arbor Sports and More. - Home, the Joel Tudor longboard has a longer wheelbase of 29.5" as opposed to the scarab's wheelbase of 27.75". I don't know how much of a difference 1.75" would make. I don't want to spend a lot of money, I'm going to try to stay under $200 definitely, but $160 to $170 ideally. I don't know how fast I'm going when I bomb hills with my current board and get wobble, I would say 20 mph at the most. I would like to go faster than that and I'm thinking about learning to slide. Which size board is best for sliding or does it all depend on the wheels?
