The strike isn't a DH board, but great for carving and cruising

you may want to look into other boards if you want to downhill, and get a drop through so its easy to slide.

    legendary knight drop through
    knuckleduster
    clutch blackbird
    comet loki
    etc etc etc...

you can create more leverage on a topmount, therefore they will turn a little easier...is it really noticable, who knows, its all opinion... The greater factor would probably be the width of the board... the farther you can get away from the center, the more leverage you can impose on the trucks, how you get farther from center is up to you.

I'd get something wider for dh and sliding, like the comet loki.

Bustin Strike is a great board, but not the best for DH. It's really low to the ground which makes for great pushing, and it's drop through which makes it even lower. BustinBoards boards definitley have a unique feel to them too. They also have great customer service and really cool custom designs. And yes Abec11 Gumballs feel great on them, but I've never ridden Grizzlys. Overall the Strike is a great carve/cruise board but not the best for DH.
