bushings and ride height

I have 180mm, 50* randals.
I just replaced the stock bushings with blue khiro barrels. the khiro is slightly lower than the stock bottom bushing.
is it necessary that I maintain the same ride height by throwing an extra washer between the bushing and base plate or will it not matter if i run just the barrel and a single washer?

I'd say put in another flat washer. It'll allow for the bushings to seat properly.

Washer for sure, to make the pivot pin sit in it's cup at the correct angle.
