    Default 5'6" Spud vs Switch

I am not exactly short and not exactly tall i am just wondering if anyone around my height has tried both and has a preference. I have experiance with some boards just feeling to long for my height especially if i am riding DH (for example my 08 demon seed which is for sale if anyone one is interested). I will appreciate any postive feedback.

I have a Spud and at 5'10" it is more than comfortable. Others of my height (and shorter) have tried it and agreed. One of my friends of the same height is actually trying to get me to sell him my Spud.

I'm 5'2" and prefer the Switch. If you're unsure, get yourself a measuring tape, measure out the length of the standing platform for both decks and decide for yourself.

I'm 5'5 and I have a Demonseed & a Switch. The Demonseed is a little too long but I find the switch is perfect. I ride it with a rather wide stance but I also think thats why it's great for stand up slides.

The effective foot platform is 29(DS) to 24.5 (SWITCH). I think the spud is like 21. The spud's like 3 inches longer than a shortboard.

    Im 5'6"

I cant fully comment on this having not ridden a spud

But I have used a switch and found it perfect for me, although i do enjoy a rather wide stance. As was said previously, get a tape measure out and lay out the EFP's of both boards and see which feels better

i would go for the switch. 21" is an awfully small EFP IMO. but its really a matter of preference

ive heard the spud is tremendously heavy, so i would imagine the switch is as well. if you want the exact weight you could probably call landy. they can tell you.
