42 would be the best out of the two but i would suggest you run 35 front/50 back bc i think the effective angle after all the wedging in the front starts to actually hinder your turning

its still the same wedging as the 08
    +15/-15
so out of the two id pick the 42s
and like the guy before me said... 35/50 would be best, its what i have on my evo and its pretty much the standard for most evos i think

its like +/- 15-17* i've heard both numbers, the 42 randals would be best so you don't have too high of an angle in front but your best best is a 35* in front and a 50* in back

42 dewedged in front 50 back

42* has a ton more lean than the 35* and with the dewedge it creates a 35* anyways,

has anyone ever tried 35 front 42 back? would that make for a more stable ride?

    how about 42/42?

I ask because im thinking of getting an Evo, and I have two 42* baseplates, and one 35* baseplate, but no extra 50* baseplate lying around.

im leaning towards the 35/42 if that would work. but if both (35/42 or 42/42) are bad ideas, then might as well order some 50* baseplates too (unless they don't sell these and I'd have no choice but to get the baseplates + hangars)

use the 42* in the front and use a wedge riser to de wedge it. making it effectively 35* it gives you a better interaction with the 180 hangers than the 35* baseplates. it feels better.

for the back you could leave the 42* and it would make it incredibly stable. if you wanted the setup more drifty wedge the 42* and make it 49* but i dont see a reason to buy another baseplate. ( unless you want to freeride on it, then those 8* of difference might make a difference)

that sounds intriguing and definitely worth trying! just to be absolutely sure about things though...so I use a standard angled riser in front, but install it with the thicker side facing out?
