    Default First Longboard

I have been looking around online for a good first longboard. The two boards i found are a fairly new loaded vanny flex 5 and a new sector 9 pipeline pintail. I weigh 135 pounds and am 6'2. They both are around $130. If you have any suggestion, they would be greatly appreciated, but i am mainly trying to choose between these two boards b/c of price.

I'd say get the Vanguard if you can steal it for under $150; especially if the Sector 9 is a factory complete. The parts they use generally are not the best, while Loaded on the other hand, does supply you with pretty decent bushings, wheels, bearings, etc.

sector 9: nice nose and tail, far better cruiser, far more fun IMO as well as more versatile. just snag some new trucks and wheels and your set
loaded: no nose, too high, just an okay board if all you wanna do is... ride.

    or bias for personal reasons.

im wondering how/where you are getting a loaded board for so cheap. just for fun im gonna recommend that you check out Gravityboard.com. one of the most underrated cruiser companies as of late. long live the hyper carve

Would the flex 5 ground out? because i've read in some forums that a flex 5 is to flexy for people over 120lbs

I suggest you pass on a flex 5, they tend to get flexier over time as well.
