Skate Bag with Longboard on Body Pics (heli pro? old many army?)
Hey, I'm lookin' at maybe getting a skate backpack or somethin' for Christmas, so I'm researching now.
I like the Heli Pro by Dakine or the Old Man Army Longboard/Park Bag.
I can see that they both would work, but does anybody have any pics of the boards on their packs and wearing them?
I've found lots of reviews about people liking those 2 bags, but I can't find any bags with their fit!
I don't know how the Old Man Army pack would fit, and I'm curious to how it lays on your body. Also, an up close pic of the compartments would be great, the site doesn't have high resolution pics.
Also, wouldn't a longboard (like a dervish) just slide down the back of the Heli Pro until the strap hits the trucks? Wouldn't the board then be bouncin' and hittin' the back of your knees?
I see that havin' a longboard attach to your back just might kinda not necessary, BUT, I'd like a new backpack and if it can carry my longboard, COOL.
Let me know what you guys have, thanks!

OMA bags are great. A lot of people don't know this, but the OMA bags are actually just bags made by a company called Decent Hardware with the OMA logo on it. If you go straight to the Decent Hardware website, they have more colors and each bag as more features.
Check it: DECENT HARDWARE
I have the limited edition Silverfish OMA bag, I think they ran out of them. It has backpack straps on it, I'll take a picture of how it looks to carry and the features and stuff tomorrow, I'm too tired right now.
For now, that decent hardware website has some close up pics and stuff.

The thing with the Heli Pro's is that you can have horizontal carry as well, since it's designed for snowboards. I have the girls version and it works not bad. Sometimes I wish it had a smidge more space so I can fit a sandwhich in there after I pack my pads/gloves/water in.

The horizontal board carry on the heli pro is much more comfortable and less akward than the vertical, I nearly always use it when hikin' back up. Both me and the kid I always ride with have that bag, and theres been no complaints. I can get some pics up by monday.

cool, thanks for the tips, let me know when you got them pics. Can you send pics of the heli pro with a longboard in the vertical position? horizontal sounds comfortable, but for navigating a crowd, it doesn't seem practical.
