Default Recomend me a DH/speed board for 225 lbs.

I pretty much have my quiver of boards rounded out except for a good downhill speedboard. Got an Original, i love it, Got a Vanguard, It's fun, Got a couple of gravity slide boards, i love them, and a hodgepodge of other boards from some old Sector 9''s, a bunch of randoms to some old school skatedecks. What i really need is a good stable downhill board. I weigh 225 and instead of telling me to lose some weight, give me some board recomendations, that may suit a bigger guy. Looking for something stable, relatively inexpensive, and suitable for a big dude, to drop into some speed with confidence. I've been looking at some of the Never Summer boards but i dunno. Help me out guys. If there's any 200 pound plus riders out there, i'd love to know what your riding.

Well if you're concerned with your weight, I'd advise you to get a downhill board with no flex. Most good downhill boards have little to no flex at all, so you're good. Here's some popular downhill boards that I'd recommend to you.

Rayne Longboards: Hellcat Complete - Completes | Canada's Premiere Longboard Manufacturer

Rayne Longboards: Demonseed Complete - Completes | Canada's Premiere Longboard Manufacturer

    Landyachtz - Boards

Those three are all very popular, but the varied drops and foot bases will help you find one you will prefer. Shoe size will also come into account when considering a new board, but I'm sure you already know that.

I weigh about 200 and use a Landyachtz Evo. The board is a tank.

The Never Summer Soldier will definitely hold your weight or you can look into the 11 maple ply Evo.

It really depends what you're looking for.

I'm a big guy (225 also) and I wanted a light top mount that wouldn't come close to flexing.

    Earthwing Mystery Model

A little pricey but it's comparably light to a Deelite from Rayne without costing a kidney. Great concave and NO flex. Throw some Randal 42* degree plates on there and its almost as low as a drop through.

However if you're looking for something dropped/lower, go with a Demonseed. It's a tank and is very versatile in regards to trucks.

And of course there's the Evo. The wedging can be a bit funky for newer riders. I personally don't like the "hammock" like turning it has.
