There's simple more urethane, so it bounces back easier. But if you're going to go with Elim/jim/stim shape bushings, go a little lower than you normally would weith a barrel, because again, there's more urethane there so it will be harder to compress.
like I use 85-82a barrel shape for DH.
and I use 81-80a JimZ bushings for DH too.

i've always thought running double barrels for carving was an outdated concept, one that originates from pre-venom ages, when khiro barrels were pretty much the best we could get.
i haven't tried sabres yet, but my current and favorite setup is venom cone bottom, softer reflex top, tightened a little bit more past the no-slop tightness.
try running with a harder cone like... 95-97. i know it sounds rediculous, but if you put it on the bottom flipped upside down, it still gives you nice turnability since its flipped... but the harder duro gives it AMAZING return to center. and a 90 or so cone on top of course. most amazing carving set-up ive found so far.
i havent tried sabres and dont know their duros but as for venoms...
81a bottom 85a top.
again this is all dependent on your weight, choose the shape you would like, however i say stay away from elims on the bottom as they are more restricting and will limit turn.
soft bottom + hard top = great rebound!
