    Question !Fresh Meat!

    Hey My names Boo,
And well i need your help, i have this new drug its called Longbording :']
Yes i know big surprise right?
Well for the past couple weeks (or should i say weekends) ive been going out with some new friends and they all have longboards so i thought i would try it out and sure enough i was on a 55" skating all over town like it was a portable trampoline.
    Amazing♥
So here is the tricky part i know close to nothing about decks and wheels and what not i need help.
What is the best (Complete) board for me i need to keep it under 200$ but i still want something good and great for beginners.
What bands are reasonably priced and what website would be best to check out?
    Help Please♥
    -Boo

Yes, Welcome to the 'fish, and to the community of addicts. If you are in the US, you can check out http://www.milehighskates.com as well. Prices might be a bit higher than you want to spend, but the setups are all right on.

Browse around. Lots to learn here.

Good luck and enjoy the ride!
Skate 'em if you got 'em,

+1 on MileHighSkates. They have some great deals.

If you must keep it under $200, take a look at Kracked Skulls.

If you aernt already equipped, factor in the cost of a basic helmet, even for light riding I must recommend wearing safety gear at all times. Also consider some wrist guards, or if you really want to develop your longboarding skills, sliding gloves.

Check out the classifieds on this site. You can get some good stuff for incredibly cheap.

Also, if you're into big boards, Longboard Larry is a great guy.

This board is great, and you could probably use the extra 60 for trucks and wheels here.

    Wear a helmet, too.
