Default Trying to pick out my first board [noob rider]

So I've been scouring these forums for some time trying to find a general consensus on parts but I'm realizing that the board I should get heavily depends on my situation.

I'm 5'11, about 155lbs and have little experience (had a skateboard back in the day). I can maintain balance and propel myself on friends' boards decently but that's about it.

I plan to use it for getting around campus (which is primarily sidewalks and streets, not terribly bumpy).

So far I'm learning towards earthwing boards, but have no clue about bearings/wheels/trucks. I read here that the complete setups at Mile High Skates would probably be my best bet.

I'm desperately looking for advice, there are way too many options for someone just entering the field to make an informed decision. And I'm not aware of any skate shops in my area so I was planning to buy online, so if you could suggest a reliable site to buy from that'd be great.

I agree with streetheap, go with either a supercharger or a superglider/widerglider.
Thank you 8ftbed, YOU ARE THE BEST!

    Quiver:
    Earthwing Superglider 38", Randal R-II's 180, Dano's 70mm Wheels, ABEC 7 Bearings

Clutch Knuckleduster, Randal 180, Pink Zigs, MHS Bearings.Green Venom roadside, stock randal board side.

It's got a kick too, for them curbs (I mean, to at least get down them).
