Need some suggestions
I had a comet FSM and it broke due to me constantly leaving it out in the rain. I loved the board but it was a bit too big and not flexy enough. Also, it cannot withstand the punishment I put it through. So here's what i'm looking for.
I've been rethinking what I want and i'm basically looking for something as light as possible so the use of carbon fiber is prob necessary. I need something >=38" that is symmetrical, slight flex for cruising but more of a stable downhill board with some sliding capabilities.
If there is something super light that isn't CF, that would be awesome as well.

Earthwing Decks and Completes: 38" Carbon Boomerang
Not quite symmetrical, but close enough.

Re: Need some suggestions
If an FSM is not flexy enough, and youre looking for a DH board at the same time... I think you need to rethink what you want in the deck.

Unless it's plastic, plexiglass, resin or aluminum, I don't know if you'll find anything that'll tolerate rain.
Get something less expensive if it's expected to have a short shelf life anyway. Go snag a 38" Scimitar from Kracked Skulls. Drop through, some flex, won't break the bank but fun as hell and will take a normal use beating pretty good.

Eh i really just want someone where i'm not going to get speed wobbles below 35 mph. My friend has a sector 9 pintail that blows downhill. I hate that board.

dude, carbon fiber isn't "necessary" nor do you "need" something meeting whatever specifications you might imagine are so very set in stone. unless you make your own deck or have someone (who listens) make one specifically for you, you're never going to check off everything on your list. imo, it's more about really feeling a deck, like you grok the builders intentions and want to rip it.. you're looking for inspiration, not for some deck out there that is waiting for you to discover it that meets all these criteria you've created.
so, go browse the shops and see what jumps out at you. go read the "your go-to setup" thread.
but whatever you decide, try to destroy it in the fashion that it was intended to be destroyed in, namely, by thrashing it. don't leave that #### out in the rain, that's bad form. worse foul than dozer letting that massive quiver collect dust, imo... at least those will get ridden by someone, someday! you denied that FSM it's birthright!
(ok ok, so the answer is indeed the EW boomerang, but I didn't think you ought to have gotten off so easy!)

Haha beleive it or not the requirements I listed there I also sent to someone who builds longboards, who will hopefully have an idea for me. Unfortunately hes quite busy. I just thought I could throw this on there and see what you guys had to say.

if they're really that busy you'll probably get the same thing bomb303 said.
you CAN'T have it all.
you can have a flexy board, OR you can have a board that will fight wobbles.
you can have a board that is durable OR you can have a board that is light.
kracked skulls are built with marine epoxy or something ridiculous like that so while that doesn't make it waterproof, it will stand up well to your NEGLECT. (I don't care if you ride it every day, take it out of the rain!!!)
they're also pretty tank-like for crash-worthiness
