Been riding this thing for 4 years. Need suggestions
Been riding this sector nine 46 inch board for 4 years now. It has definitely been loved, but I like many do not know a whole lot about the sport. I really enjoy carving, and downhill runs. I never really took care of the bearings, just rode em out till they wouldnt spin. I really need suggestions for a new board, what are some good companies? bearings? trucks? decks? I really enjoy carving and moving very fast. I am not new to the art of longboarding but i do not know the market. So please help me out, i need a good board. All opinions and suggestions welcome. Oh and what is sliding, and how is it done?

reshaping/refinishing a deck is not hard.
Definitely ride some other setups to get a feel for what you want.
New bearings and bearing spacers would be a good idea as well.

Reshaping? what does that involve, cutting and changing of the actual proportions of the board? re finishing would not be hard, but i really do need new trucks

Most reshaping would entail chopping/reshaping the tail/nose any damged areas.
Wheelbase can also be moved, and it is not to hard to drop through if you have a correct sized template.

How wide is your deck?
Paris, Randal, Crail,Bear all make trucks that would suit you fine.
