I want to ask for a longboard for christmas, and i don't know what to call a board that is the same on both ends without a kicktail, what do you call it?

You don't have to announce the fact that you are a noob.
It's hard to say... I don't recall a term for all symmetrical boards without kicks. Typically, I use the board's model name.
The incorrect term is "Dervish-shaped" or anything remotely similar.
