a little help please
hey everyone!
i have been having trouble deciding what trucks to put on my fsm, i am stuck between indy hybids, and randals, no matter with ones i choose i will be putting 85a cone roadside, and a 87a barrel board side, so help me, which truck?
btw this is for free ride, i want to be able to slide easy and carve, but when i tightten up the trucks i want to be able to take it up to around 30mph
please and thank you!

Re: a little help please
It's preference, really. Depends on whether you like the turn of an Indy or the turn of a Randal. I'd take traditional geometry over reverse any day.
Of note, the Indys will give you a lower setup, which will help the board's slideability.
Especially if you're staying around 30mph, I'd go Indy. The only reason I go reverse is to make higher speeds more forgiving.
Hope that helps,
Russ

Re: a little help please
New gen FSM's will accept both without wheelbite and 72-74mm wheels. Indy's will allow larger.
Your choice.
I enjoy my 1st gen drop through with Holeys and 72mm freerides...ymmv

It depends. The Indys are lower, so they will slide better, though it won't be much different. As for the carves, again, it's different.
I would describe an Indy as "quicker" turning than a Randal. The geometry just tips differently. I would consider an Indy to be a better carving truck than a Randal. Again, that's very, very disputable.

It will depend more on your bushing choices than your trucks.
