well if your route involves lots of pushing on flatground, I would personally go for a smaller wheel. In heats will increase your speed on hills for sure, but a smaller wheel will make it easier to get going on the flats. Maybe some 70m 4prez or stimulus if you want to stay with Otangs but there might be better wheels from other companies that would be better for you.

Gumballs in 78a, it's what the dervish used to come with, and is still the best do everything wheel.

For commuting I'd recommend a 75 wheel over a 70 cause you will get more out of your pushing (roll longer) and roll easier over pebbles and stuff.

Get a soft big wheel. Like the 80a In Heats, the bigger size will increase roll speed once you get moving, and its not really that big of a diffference between 70 and 75mm anyway. But like people have said there are other wheels besides Otangs,

use gumballs but like otangs better, and like grapeyapes better than otangs, for cruising and pumping only . grapeyapes are one comfy ride.

What rolls longer, In Heats or Durians? Purple or Yellow?

I'm going to get new wheels soon, currently riding on some soft, I think 78a, 62mm Tunnel Tarantulas, and I like how they roll. Wouldn't definitely like something similar in roll, or better, but definitely not worse. Would also like to get into sliding, so I was strongly considering a freeride wheel like the Durians (or maybe Retro Freerides or the new Hawgs Zombies).

Right now, what concerns me most in a new wheel, since I ride mostly flat ground, is what's going to give me the most speed and rolling distance from my pushing.

if you want more distance for the push, you would go for a larger size wheel but since in heats and durians are both the same it doesn't matter. If you just want a pretty soft wheel to make cruising nice, I would say 80a orange in heats, otherwise just go for whichever durian you want since you're interested in sliding

Wait he's right, orangatangs cost more money, which is green, therefore they are more green than other wheels, and we all know green makes you faster, better, stronger (popeye for example) so that means otangs are better because they cost more.
