Question Question about mini board set up?...

I have this old longboard and the deck is completly finished but the trucks and wheels are brand new, so ive been thinking about getting the bambino by sector 9 ( bamboo series )
    because mini boards are awesome,
so ive been wanting to buy that deck and stick the black 10'' gullwing charger trucks of my kommi on it and the 75mm pink retros too.
would that defeat the purpose of having a mini board or would it be ok?
( i know id need to add risers

itd be fine but generally smaller trucks are better for minis i prefer conventional kingpin trucks on them (think bennets, hybrids, indys).

but you won't get the most out of the board with wide trucks
