Paris Truck Stock Bushings SUCK!! Help me out!

Hello,

i ordered an avenger 09 with paris trucks and they came with black bushings. these things are absolute crap. completely unridable, i had to tighten them a ton and they are ripping apart. i am in california on vacation and i planned on riding here a lot. now im stuck with these bushings... where can i get replacements fast?? im in monterey/carmel.

and why the hell does paris even put these bushings in their trucks? how the **** rides those?

i would be really happy if you could help me out somehow. i need new bushings really really fast. last resort would be a drive to san francisco (skates on haight). thanks in advance guys, and merry christmas,

I think you missed the memo, but Paris updated their bushings to the same stuff Zak uses in his Venoms. And it sounds like your best bet is to take a drive to Skates on Haight to pick up some new ones.

thats what i thought as well, red venoms in paris!

these were shipped by sundae skates and they clearly did not come with red venoms.

paris do not come with Venoms. They come with divines. paris has no affiliation with Venom.

with divines ey? mine came with black pieces of crap which got ripped and bent after two turns of the nut. no one, except maybe little 8 year old kids, could ride these. what is paris thinking? why does paris want to ruin my longboarding vacation? i am so pissed.

The black ones are 86a, for reference. How much do you weigh? Maybe it's the thane.

Mine came with some bad ass 93a's.

i weigh about 160 pounds. but that really doesnt matter. these bushings are utter crap. they feel like they are made out of foam. i just stood on the board once and rocked back and forth and the top cones are WRECKED. totally bent out of shape and sliced by the cupped washer. something is seriously wrong with these bushings. i hope sunday skates didnt rip me off.

if i had to judge the duro i would say something well below 70a. sloppier than anything ive ever stood on, white kiros are rock solid in comparison. tightening them just destroys them even more.

I'm not getting nitpicky, I'm just trying to figure out what happened. Sorry your bushings didn't work out, did you google search for local skateshops and then call them up to ask them if they had bushings of your choice?

Theres a place near cannery row that has a skate shop, (On The Beach)<title i dunno they may be a pretty sector niney shop. But if you come a little further north to palo alto there is black diamond sports and they got hella ####

I live in Monterey. You should call Sunshine skates first, then On the Beach, possibly zumiez in Del Monte.

If none of them have the bushing you want make a trip up to Black Diamond Sports in palo Alto. That place is seriously a longboarding mecca. Then cruise on the Stanford campus and ask Konstantine or anyone at BDS to direct you to some nice hills. They know all the best spots.

I got a pair of the black bushings from somewhere. One of them did the same thing. Peeled like an orange. The other one was fine.

I have the Red ones in the 'New' Paris trucks, they are loose (soft) with just the right amount of rebound (I weigh 170). I love them and would prolly get the same bushings if these wear out, Paris selected the right bushing IMO when they moved to these red ones - I have no idea who actually makes them - call Sundae or Paris and tell em to overnight you the red ones ASAP, and that they are ruining your Christmas Stoke. Geez, Paris should have instructed their vendors to pull all the old crappy bushings before sending them out. Hang in there, bro, you'll get it right eventually.

A friend of mine got the same bushings a couple of weeks ago. When he e-mailed Daddies boardshop, they replied that this is the new Paris stock bushing.
