    Default New Griptape?

Hi, ive had my LandYachtz EVO for about a year of tough riding, through rain and intense heat..

After this kind of dust and sun damage, the grip isn't as nice looking, or as good feeling as it used to..

Is there any way to take the old grip off and slap some new stuff with maybe some art on it??

Please let me know the easiest way to Change tapes.

    Thanks!

the old grip will just peel up with some elbow grease and then just clean the top off with rubbing alcohol then cut out the design you want in the new grip and lay it down the biggest pain is pulling the old grip up

hairdryer/hand dryer, use it to warm up the glue on the grip tape and it should peel right off (with a bit of force)

I wouldn't clean the sticky stuff off seeing as you can't have too much sticky when adding on griptape. Hand dryer in one hand while pulling with the other is the most effective for me.

You can however have too much gunk underneath your griptape. Clean it with goo-gone or isopropyl or whatever, so that you can stick your new grip to a nice clean surface.

Yea, if i leave the (prolly less sticky) stuff on the board, the new griptape will not stick to the board as much, just becaise its sticking to gunk, not smooth wood

Do NOT use WD-40 to get the gunk off a deck. I learned this the hard way.. It's really hard to get the WD-40 off after :/

Thank Science it was a crappy deck anyways.

goo gone, and alcohol are the best things, both dry up very fast and dont leave a residue
