New To The Game And In Need Of Help

hey err im completly new to longboarding all though i have surfed for a few years. im look for my first board and have a fair amount of money to spend something that caught my eye was the original malakai 40 board if anyone knows it? also wondering whether i should bother getting one of those slightly cheeper boards off like ebay or a website for like 60-70 quid or get a decent one?? any help would be much appreciated, btw i live in england and shipping costs are fine cheers

Do not buy one from ebay. They suck. Originals are sick but the trucks may be hard to get used to. How about this Mile High Skates or this LongboardSkater.com: Flexdex Rubber Soul - 40" - Complete
