detatchable truck mount

so, about a week ago, someone ran a red light, and crushed my new insect lightning bug. needless to say i was heart broken. The damage was done to the front end where the truck mounts in. It's just the very front part, so i was thinking about cutting it flush to the foot platform, and adding on a wedged truck mount that screws on to the board itself. I know i've seen something like this online, but i've tried searching everything, does anyone know where i can find an attachable metal truck mount?

A Surf rodZ Thresher plate would probably do the trick. PM SeanML on here, he might be able to get you one.

I do a lot of ghetto fixes for damage like that, but I'd want to see a pic to be able to best advise.

#### man, that's perfect. The deck fractured right on the bottom of the neck, but the foot platform is still in tact. If i were to cut my deck down that would be the most practical way to get it back up and running. I appreciate the speedy help man.

hit up roger bros they sell angled ones DH 3 Piece i dont think there metal tho
