yeah im pretty new to this downhill stuff lol i love just cruising and carving but the friends i hang out with are hardcore DH... yeah so uhh i need like a DH tutorial cuz i cant even go like 15 without gettin scared or speed wobbles so yeah any advice?

Have you talked to your friends about improving your skillz/setup?

Riding with other is one of the fastest way to improve.

Do you have a helmet/gloves?

Don't skate anything you can't handle...well not too too much.

take it slow, grow some balls and go.

If your friends are hardcore into DH why don't you just learn from them...?

The dervish isnt really a highly recommended DH board.
The stock bushings are not really great either. ( I personally dont like dual cones for my DH board).
and you should talk to your friends and get their opinion too since they know you and can suggest something right for you

Yeah the dervish is not a recommended speed board but I guess you have to work with what you've got. I just started DH myself. I've only been out about 5 times, but it is a hell of a lot of fun. Just don't think about it, hold still and you won't get wobbles (hopefully).

It also helps to go with some more experienced riders. My first time out I went with some guys who have been doing it for a while, so I was able to sortof mimic their style as I rode behind them (waaaay behind them ). It also helped that I didn't want to embarass myself in front of the others haha.

Just go for it and KNOW that you can hit some speed. When in doubt, raise up the arms and stand up slowly to shave off some speed. KNOW HOW TO FOOTBRAKE WITHOUT LOSING BALANCE. It's harder than it sounds when you have some speed.

Odds are one of your friends may have a stiffer deck you can borrow.

Do take every chance to ride different setups to see what appeals to you.
If you do enjoy it you will have valuable knowledge in picking an appropriate deck for your downhill style.

just take it slow!
start from the bottom go a little higher and so on!
three things you will need helmet,slide gloves and some guts!
learn how to slide hands down.
