Kracked skulls are made for cruising, carving, sliding, and some downhill.

The symmetrical deck allows it to be a great freeride board, and with its low center of gravity, it keeps you stable at high speeds.

Don't get any of those (excluding kracked skulls of course ) none of those are good for beginners (if you are one) and originals aren't really good for much of anything (imho)

Earthwings and flexdex are all really nice boards and are especially good if your budget is a bit tighter. What will you mainly use the board for? What is your budget? How experienced are you? What have you ridden on in the past?

Ok, I already longboard. I have a sector 9 waimea with 9" gullwing chargers and sector 9 biothane 65mms. Its alright, but i want one i can do more with. I do some dancing but mostly cruising, some downhill, not too crazy, i want to do slides, shuvits, tricks, etc. but my board is not good for that

That sounds like a pretty chill setup for cruising, carving, dancing, Whats your beef?
Maybe a change of wheels such as some Otang Fat Frees would help in the sliding dept.

A twin tip design along the lines of the LBL Komodo/ Salamnder might be the ticket.

What would you like different? A more downhill orientated setup, maybe something geared toward technical sliding? A dedicated dancer?

i was looking at the LBL komodo, how much flex does it have do u know? it says medium flex, would that be around the same flex as like a dervish flex 2? because i want something with that flex

*sigh* it always comes back to loaded doesn't it
yes that will be a pretty similar flex to the board that you have mentioned.
You might also look at the gravity kalai if you want a board JUST like that but a bit cheeper.
you could also look at the Never Summer Descent.

i am just buying the deck by the way, i'm already set in the wheels and trucks departments, but i think i need new bearing too. And i honestly know nothing about bearings . and the gravity kalai deck only is the same price as a dervish deck only, and an lbl komodo is even less

if ur lookin at the dervish style of board, just get the BC Eel.
only 120 for the deck, same style of flex and shape, and they do custom graphics.
if ur into that sort of thing

Ok, I've got it narrowed down to these four. Loaded dervish, LBL komodo, gravity kalai, kracked skulls scimitar, now i'm not sure.

now you have to decide what is more important, build quality, versatility or price.

price is the least important i'd say. I'm saving up so itll take a while anyway but i think the price is worth it. Build quality and versatility are important. But they are all about the same shape and style, except the komodo thats a little longer than the rest. dervish and komodo are definitely great quality, im not sure about the gravity and the kracked skulls is probably ehhhh alright. im not really sure here, which one would you go with? for someone who needs something light, danceable, and medium flexy?

I'm saying the bc eel also... it's a seriously good ride and at a great price, the reason I like a great price is that you can use any money you have left over to get yourself some quality bushings and such to really complete a great setup.

You might also take a look that the flexdex L37 since you still have some time to decide, I feel that you will also find this to your liking.
