Default Wheel Width and riser question

Well after getting a board from my friend for $40 and buying new bearings, grip tape, screws i would like to upgrade the wheels. Right now it has some wheels i can't find anywere and have never seen before they are clear red Roxy brand wheels. I don't see them on google either but after measuring them they are about 48mm in width. I have 1 riser under each truck each is 1/2 an inch. I have no wheel bite and about 1/2 an inch of room between the board and wheel when turning before they hit each other. Anyway i would like to put on some 70mm wheels on my board and would like to know how big of risers would i need to cruise comfortably on my board with atleast 1/2 an inch of space between the deck and wheel. Thanks

Edit: i would have to buy new screws as well then so ill go with 60mm wheels instead but what size risers should i get or will i be ok

Find the height difference between the two different wheels, and add that exact height to the height of the risers. Simple enough

do you have wheel wells ?
I have a deck with 71 mm alligators , no wheel wells i got a 1/2 and 1/8 rise underneath my Indy 215's, if they are loose then i get wheel bite if not carefull.
I should have gone with a smaller wheel. like the 63mm, may still do itbut will try harder bushings first.

If you go with 59mm Rainskates, 60mm Noskoolz, Powell ATFs, 61mm StreetSnakes etc... you will be just fine.

you dont really need half an inch above ur wheels as long as you can jump on the side and not have it get bite then you should be fine
