    Default wheel cutouts

I want to try and grind in some wheel wells into a VLAM board so that I can ride with as little riser as possible. I know it is no problem on a regular ply board but will it cause issues on my board. Also I will be needing some 1/8" risers, would it be better to go with hard or soft on a 43" pin? I use this board for everything from bombing to crusing to the store.

Well I did it and it's glorious!!! It brought a tear to my eye when I took the sander to my Motion BigFish, but after some carefull surgery it looks great and I will never have to fear wheel bite again... on this board. This is my set up. Motion BigFish, Randall 180's, 1/8" soft risers, Jimz Stimz, Bones Reds, and 76mm S9 Speed Goddess wheels.

    EPIC THREAD REVIVAL!

Any chance of some pics. I am thinking of doing the same to mine. Do you still have it even?

The last time the OP posted was in 2007... So I'll guess there are no pics from him... But this is an awesome seven year necro. Props.
