hrm, terminology
i know what a quiver is. i was wondering, however, why a selection of boards is called a quiver. longboards don't really remind me of arrows, and longboarders don't remind me of archers. so why the term quiver? i mean, i understand why (you can pull a board from your "quiver"), but who really decided that this was the word that all longboarders will use?
in a nutshell, where did the term originate from?

at the risk of sounding pompous, i'd just like to point out that a quiver is actually the case that holds the arrows, not the pile of arrows itself
but that's beside the point :P

Surfers and other boards sports enthusiasts call their collection of boards quivers. Not sure why. It just fits! haha
