nose, tail, bottom protection

Sorry about the awkward title but i couldnt think of anything else. I currently am riding the never summer heist and absolutely love it. My room mate is now looking for a new long board as his was stolen in the fall. he wants something that has the tips and tails like never summers boards, and if possible the awesome lamination that protects the bottom. he is just wondering what else is out there with these options (preferably the tips and tails). he had the makai and loved it but the bottom went to **** in a week, and he rammed 1 curb and the tip went to he11 and split. any advice is great I have tried looking around but have failed miserably.

He wants to avoid adding the tip protectors because of how tacky they look

You can use rubber glued to the front. I just put a huge line of hot glue on the nose and tail of my boards and it works fine. I've also heard of plastidipping your nose and tail but I'm not sure how well it works

I have heard of that before, he wants a board that has the nose and tail tips built in (like some neversummer boards)

anyone have any thoughts on other brands to look at?

Summit Boardshop has been great for us, selling a lot of boards. It's an amazing shop too. Have you checked out the foam pit for the street skaters?

Oh ya, I dabbled in that a little bit when they where in the process of making it. I really like the synthetic snowboard park out back in the summer time, a lot of fun! Summits shop itself is a great shop great deals on most of their items

These work great for nose tip and tail tip protection. They handle both pointed edges and rounded edges very well. I warmed them slightly before application and so far they are adhering well.
