Randal RII 180 Black
75mm BigZigs Lime
Abec 5 green
Quartz grip
im 5'11"

Any advice or does this setup seem pretty good?
Sounds like a great set-up. I also have basically the same thing but with O-tang In Heats and grip. 42" is perfect for me.
said basically the same thing as gordito.

Re: Kracked Skulls
Just wondering, do you have to assemble the board yourself? or do you have the option to do it yourself?

MBUGS setup sounds the same as the one I just got, cept I opted for black grip tape from a local shop so I could do a design of my own.
Can't comment on the ride yet because as soon as I completed assembly... Buckets of rain. Oh and if you haven't ordered already, looks like there's some kind of delay going on where nothing's shipping until mid-month.
PS, thanks for the discount code gordito.

Re: Kracked Skulls
usually he has the baseplates already attached and all you have to do is put on the hangars/bushings and whatnot. even the wheels are in with spacers!

Re: Kracked Skulls
Mine is 42" and has 26" of footspace before the taper/riser starts on either end. It looks like the M1 has more pure foot space than the scimitar because the riser and cutouts aren't as aggressive.

Just curious, as I have never rode a Loaded- but would like to... how does say a 40 in Sci compare to a Dervish?

Re: Kracked Skulls
I've been going over this thread for a while and I've decided to buy a Kracked Skull board but I can't decide between an M1 or a Scimitar. This is going to be my first board. I'm 5'11" and 160lbs. What kind of setup would you guys recommend? I'm generally interested in cruising some hills and just kind of riding around town, nothing super extreme.

Re: Kracked Skulls
How come a 40 inch M1 can run 77mm strikers but not any of the 75mm bigzigs? Or at least KS lets you order a 40 in M1 with strikers but not bigzigs.
Whehee! Longboarding is fun!

Re: Kracked Skulls
I'd never had Big Zigs before my latest KS arrived, but they are WIDE. Just did some measuring and they are about 57mm which would make them something like 10mm more in diameter than the strikers, so I'd say the height of the wheel isn't what keeps some of them from working well with the M1. It's probably the width.

The feel is totally different. Scimitar is lower, but I definitely prefer to carve on a dervish. The flex forming is also very different.

Strikers are pretty much sideset, so there's only 1-2mm of thane on the inside lip. You could probably run bigzigs, I had InHeats on mine. I did make some small clearance grooves in the wheel wells though. Not pretty but they worked.
