i'm 170 pounds. the board has flex but it wont bottom out. you can bounce up and down lightly on it and it still wont bottom out. so its a pretty stiff flex, but i like that amount of flex.

I finally bombed the bigass hill I live on, granted it was fri the 13 th and it was 10oclock.
Wow, really stable, minimal speed wobble at about 25 or so but a weight shift solved that..
I have a sector 9 goddess on chargers as well, I love the drop thru. top mounts seem really freakin high to me ....
I emiled william about the possibility of a stiffer m1 type shape with more plies and deeper cutouts . no response. he probably gets alot of emails like that. ok I abmit I would love to get a hellcat but i would rather get a similar (but better) board from a person whose bread and butter is longboards. I hpe he comes out with some new designs soon I'll be the first to buy!!
twas brillig' and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogroves, and the mome raths outgrabe,

I've got a 44" on Strikers. Great all-around board for me, and my 150lbs really likes the flex.

I did sortof a rough stain using masking tape to keep it under control, clearcoated it with spray-on Krylon. Still thinking about what to do for tape, but the deck is big enough for me not to worry about traction for a little while.

    Board Pr0n for good measure:

just to make sure, for me to paint/stain it i would have to sand the deck completely first right? because im thinking of doing a stain job on my board.

How is the flex on the scimitar? I'm thinking about getting one. I would probably get the 42" scimitar. How responsive is it when cruising, is it possible to do some basic dancing on? How does it handle hills? and lastly is it good for sliding?

the shorter the board the flexier it is. 38'' can pump like mad from what i have heard b/c of th sick flex. while the 46'' needs more work to get the pump going.

i have a 44'' and it is awesome for cruising. its fast and stable. i dont know about sliding it from personal experience. watch anthony's video on youtube. just type in kracked skulls and you can see him riding his. shows a bunch of slides and tricks.

I emailed kracked skulls and asked
"Hi, I'm a little confused on the difference between the M1 and the Scimitar. Is there any difference besides the Scimitar having larger wheel cut outs?"

So basically anyone who has been wondering why there M1 is flexier then there friends Scimitar, this is why. The Scimitar is more stable and has more reinforcement. So the M1 is a little flexier, but not quite as stable.

    Sorry for double post.

I'm thinking about getting 42" scimitar with randals and Lime Big Zigs.

Anyone running this set up? If so how do you like it?

I've got a 40" scimitar with randals and Lemons. Pretty similar.

IMO, KS boards are pretty good all-around. It's definitely best for carving, as long as you have soft bushings. The width and drop-through make it a really comfortable slide board as well (the specs say it's 9" wide; it's actually closer to 10" when measured with the concave). I suspect this is more because it's a drop-through than anything, but pumping on this board feels really different from pumping a topmount. It works pretty well, but it feels more like "twisting" as opposed to "pumping" usually feels.

It's a little less comfortable for tricks and dancing. The flex is nice for it, I guess; nothing like a Loaded. I'd say it's about as stiff as a flex 1 Loaded, but more damp. The super wide width means you need to be a little more careful where you put your feet while dancing, or you'll carve too hard while making a step, or even get shoe-bite (as in your shoe skids on the ground off the side of the board).

The wood risers also present a small complication for dancing and tricks, as they effectively shorten the flat platform by 2-3 inches. You can still step on them, of course, but they take a little to get used to, and you have to be careful of your foot slipping and touching the wheel. In some instances, it's cool they're there so you can feel where the board is under your feet without looking.

The nose and tail are pretty functional for tricks, again, once you get used to them. the riser+board+baseplates all stacked on top of each other makes an incline of sorts on the nose, which also means less grip there. If you're into flip tricks and stuff, the width makes that a little difficult as well.

This was the first real longboard I bought, so I guess this was a worthwhile first post =P. Have a blast with your new board.

Does the kracked skulls come with good bushings or do you have to buy them yourselves?

they have the randall 180's with the upgraded red bushings, instead of yellow bushings. from what i have heard yellow bushings were crap but the new red ones are pretty good. deff not khiro or anything but its a good bushing.
