Re: Kracked Skulls
Is that grip tape reflective? Boards look good. I love how most people's boards posted here prob are trashed by now or atleast mines getting trashed pretty nicely
Nothing wrong with that but I look at my pic posted before which was posted after one day and it looks so immaculate.

Re: Kracked Skulls
I trashed my board pretty nice today in the "wet". I figured if I'm going to be riding well through November that I'm going to have to pick n choose "wet" conditions to ride in and since it stayed in the 40's today/tonight I had to go out there...
On the other hand does anyone have any tips on doing nose or tail mannys on the scim or m1 that's 42''+? Alot of dead weight when I lift... maybe I'm just weak?

Re: Kracked Skulls
You need to have Indys with an oldschool hole pattern, and it will def fit on a Schimi. Just a note I did it with mine and it was stupid low, the rails were hitting the ground on deep turns, and I was running 76mm wheels.

Top mount it! I did it on my 38" and it's the shiz. Still low but but slick as proverbial spit on the griddle.

Don't suppose you get any railbite like yooo braahh? Or hangerbite?
Do indy hybrids have any different geometry/ride height compared to normal indys?

Re: Kracked Skulls
i was wondering if anyone has used their KS without the riser (or alternately as a top mount). any problems around the trucks? i'm looking to get more clearance on my m1, for wheelbite (stimulus and real soft bushings) and railbite (the deck has gotten a lot flexier over time and it scrapes when pumping).

Re: Kracked Skulls
I topmounted one of my Scimitars (38") and dig the hell out of it. Scimmy/M1 are the same decks except you're limited in wheel size on the M1. Just go ahead and topmount it. You'll either like it or end up reverting to dropthough.
(get a scimmy next time so you never have to worry about wheel bite)

Re: Kracked Skulls
cool. follow-up question: the mounting screws are totally shot (like a screwdriver won't fit in the tops), how should i get these out? and after that, what length screws should i order to replace them (for top-mounting)?
yea i don't regret getting an m1, but i'm definitely getting a scimitar when it craps out on me...probably transfer the old trucks/wheels to save $$$

i had the same problem with mines and i used a plier to just grip the screw and unscrew it like that, and you should get same size screws it came with (not exact sure on the size) but yea because if you get shorter ones, might not be useful when u decide to drop again.

Re: Kracked Skulls
Anybody ever try to put Original trucks on one of these? I tried e-mailing the guy who makes them but he never responded.
