    Default longboard backpack

i got the heli pack from dakine... i like it because its nice and small, lots of pockets etc. the only thing is that it has waaay too many straps and stuff.... there flying every where, poking peoples eyes out and making children cry. but i can fit a huge bomb hills sector 9 platnum series on it so it cant be that bad

i wouldnt recomend it to anyone unless you go everywhere with your board, cause it does indeed make carrying it easier

Sweet. I need a new backpack. Take some scissors to the useless straps.

does it carry the bomb hills comfortably? something about carrying a 40 inch board on my back seems a bit much.

it does it ok... i mean you can carry it, but it would sit better in the back of your friends car. but if you have to carry it you can do it

I have this old Airwalk snowboarding backpack. It's sweet because it even fits my 57" Luke Nosewalker. Works nicely for that purpose. If you're looking for a backpack to carry a longboard, I think it's important to have sternum and waist straps. Just make sure it holds the board pretty close to your body so it doesn't put too much stress on your back.

    agreed!

i had a dakine machnau bag that was great because the grip didn't damage the rubberised cover to the pack. also it was quite sizeable and perfect for a good amount of kit. ufortunately some chump broke into my mates car and stole it.

    i'm looking at: http://www.ogio.com/product.php?product=61
the skate range from ogio is also worth checking out, dapper hosoi pack .

anyone know if these snowboard carry straps are good enough for a board about a metre long?

    thanks.
