Wtf is going on with my trucks

So, my randals rattle. They always has. I have a vanguard, and first they rattled like hell, so I got softer bushings. I got khiro orange, 79a, they still rattle. I can do a u turn at just a little less then 1,5 parking spaces... The rattle isn't horrible as it was before but it's still prettey much. I currently got flat washers, 2 at the bottom and 1 on top. I can't turn the washers with all my force when I lift the board up, I weigh 124 pounds. I just can't get myself to ride it because its so disgusting with the rattle... help? And if i tighten them enough to remove the rattle, the trucks are so stiff and crap

How's the fit with the kingpin inside of the baseplate?

It's the stock kingpin and it's flipped

Yes, i lubed them yesterday. Look it dissapears when i tighten them... Maybe I should get white khiros

IME, the stock Randal kingpins fit somewhat loose when flipped. That might be contributing to things.

The washers on my randals rattle too. What it is it that when you put weight on the board, weight is taken off the top bushing, making the washer loose, and rattle. There are three things you can do about this. Get stiffer bushings, tighten your trucks, or deal with it. I preffer the later.

are u using orange b*tches on top?

i weigh 130 and i have blue barrels on bottom and orange b*tches on top and i can turn 1.5 parking spaces w no rattle. i have flipped stock kingpins as well

Mine are perfect too. The only thing it could be is the hanger against the kingpin. I have no idea. I'm running yellow Khiro bitches and I way 14 pounds less than you.

Mine used to rattle too, then I put in khiro blue barrles with the stock randal lowers (Are they called B*tches because theyre on the bottom? If so - Canada's bigger and we're on top. If this was prison you would be our b*tch lol) Unfortunately I had to tighten them more than I would like to to prevent wheel bite so its not quite as turny as I would like but It will do. I also rubbed bar soap on everyyyything that the bushings touch who knows - maybe that helped subdue the rattle.

It possible that it's not the washers? I mean they are not really loose when i feel them, but the problem does go away by tightenimg them...

If I make my randals really loose (but not so loose that it's uncomfortable on my vanguard) the washers will rattle. The kingpin needs to be tightened enough that it's snug or else the washers will rattle.

If you spin the washers, even a little bit, they'll rattle when u ride them. Go ahead and try the white ones, tell us how it rides

Remove one of the bottom washers or put some grease between them or glue them together. I think they rattle against each other.

if it is the two washers together rattling, a few small pieces of electricians tape will to the trick. But basically, your kingpin is too loose, try softer bushings tightened down more to the same looseness and there should be no rattle.
