    Default trucks questions

so i have an old S9 Luke Nosewalker.. which was the longest board they made..
they hardware was sucky... i recently took it apart.. and the bearings are all rusty from riding it in the rain long ago..
so i'm looking to replace all of that.. i'm sure on what bearings to get..
but what trucks would work out for a board that's 55" long..
and also, what kind of wheels so i replace on it..

Go for Randal 180s and Flashbacks. Sector 9 also have some good wheels for a decent price. There's no reason to go fancy on ALL of your boards. If you're willing to try something different, then I always make it a point to recommend Revenge trucks. I suggested it to someone else, but go to PurpleSkunk.com and get Revenges from them, their brand bearings, and 3DM Purple Skunk Avilas. On checkout, you can use the Silverfish discount code. Enjoy.

I ride Holeys 5 degrees wedged and 76 Flys under my Ed Economy 57. Front red bushing, rear blue bushing. I love this setup for stability due to the long wheelbase. On the other hand its awesome turny due to the wedged Holeys and has a verry smooth ride.

My second option (truck I also had on this deck) would be Originals.Check out hamboards.com and you see how these trucks ride. The downside and the reason why I changed back to holeys is, that Originals ride harsh and noisy especially with my Flywheels, but they performance is great. (I ride them without risers under a Lush Bahari 44 with custom cutous - wow ...)

If you want to sidewalk surf get Tracker Dart 184's with hourglass bushings and wedge them, if you plan on hitting some hills get Randals.
