    Default suitable for me?

I'm currently riding a POS krown longboard I got just to start off with, but I've got my eye on this board.

    Rayne Demonseed Bamboo Model

Rayne Demonseed Complete Longboard Skateboard Bamboo Model 2008: PREBOOK - 1148

I really like the shape and the way it looks, but I'm not sure if it would be right for me.

I'd like a board for downhill, but also one that would be good for cruising around campus and whatnot. I wanna start teaching myself to slide too.

    What do you guys think?

of all of those boards, I still think the one I chose is the coolest

(and it's still cheaper, +5 cool points)

I think I'm a little afraid I might get myself into a world of #### when I decide to tackle my first hill on that, I know it's gonna be much faster than my current board.

I think you will be happy. Im thinking of buying one myself after I rode my buddies. And faster is better! It should be a lot more stable than what you are riding now so you should feel more comfortable on it.

demonseed is a great board, just for campus cruising/sliding i donno if it would be the best choice. my buddy has one and it is sweet, he's got grizzlies and speed vents on it and it rides great, but still if you're gonna be riding around campus/sliding you might want something that turns a little but more. Hustler was designed to be a carver with the ability to DH, so that sounds like the perfect board for you, but i know how it is to be locked in on one board, hope you enjoy it! ride it hard!
