actually they are $299 from Sweden, and shipping turns out to be quiet a bit usually after customs charges.
if you think about it.
Kahalanis are made in small quantitys with high quality = more expencive
other trucks are made in Very large quantitys and arent anywhere near the quality = Very cheap
"high end" longboard stuff is actually cheap, look at prices for good, not even high end snowboard gear and youll see how longboard stuff is actualy cheap.

Other reasons, the trucks will be the same price assuming the price from Kahalanis and exchange rates stay somewhat the same when they're sold through Pipeline.
Honestly finishing School up had been more important to me at this time working on my own buisness comes after i catch up on schooling.

Re: Kahalanis in the US?
They're not worth all that money IMO.

Re: Kahalanis in the US?
they are normal trucks with faced hangers and 8mm axles.
Dewedged Indy 215s with 8mm axles and faced hangers would probably perform just as well...
Randal R-II 180's modded the same way would too.

I emailed Dan from Kahalani and he is coming to New York city in a week or 2 to visit his mum and he bringing a set of trucks for me. If you wanted you could shoot him an email and ask him to shuip the trucks to you while he is in the states.
