DH plans 86'd
remember a while back i had this great plan to have a DH setup? modified bomb hills, grizzlies and orange 'gators? weeeeeellll thats not going to happen. my town has no DH quality runs and PV has waaaaaay too much traffic.
so i need a new board
my current board is and s9 pin w/ 180's and 75 limes. i am in the process of getting a dancer deck 58" 'cause i got all the other goods to go beneath it. but i want a shorter longboard.
i want a new deck to go on top of my S9's 180's and limes but im not shure. no more S9's, and no kracked skulls, nothing flexy (maybe minimal, but veeery minimal), and some thing i can still speed down a hill and walk away. any ideas?

Re: DH plans 86'd
Here are a few good options:
Pressure Drop RD-42:
pressuredroplongboards- skateboards, longboards, board sports
They are great boards at a great price, very versatile for ditches, hills, garages, etc...
Also, check out subsonic:
Subsonic Skateboard Company
They are also very verstile.
Rayne hellcat might also be a good choice,
That covers your budget from about $70, up to $130-140, hope this helps!

Word is the Landyachtz drop wedge is being re-released mid januaryish... I personally have one of the older models and if the re-release fills the same hybrid nitch the original, it's the flavor you're craving...

Re: DH plans 86'd
+1 on the Pressure Drop/Subsonic
i've got a subsonic and it's SWEET i would say go with the Subsonic Reflex, and check with them to see if you can get a stiffer version of the board. just remember that you have to select all your options such as color, drop through, wheel wells, etc.
or you could get a dervish!

I believe I saw such a claim on a retail website. I think it was solidskate.com

The Drop wegde is a great board. I personally use mine mostly for downhill, but it would make a good versatile board. I can't fell any flex at 120 pounds and it is low and easy to push. If you throw some 52*/52* bears on it, you will have a great board. this board would be worth the wait.
