rayne timeline trucks?
i know there's a thread about this. but it was confusing and i wasn't sure and it was for a 80 lb. year old kid.
anyways would a 4.3 bennet truck work? and what rtx size should i use in the back?
closest to 4.3 is 106... i'm 120 pounds and 5'5" shoe size 9

Re: rayne timeline trucks?
you got it.
4.3 bennett and 106mm rts and play w/ wedges 'til you find what you like.
10-15deg positive front, 5-10deg negative rear is the good advice i received.
5.0 bennett mates well w/ 129mm rts if you want a little more stability.
your weight comes more into play w/ bushing/wheel duro choices.
at 80lbs i'd guess some config of white, orange and maybe blue Khiros would work out. (been awhile since i weighed 80lbs, Lol)
that $30 Khiro kit is also a great aid in dialing in setups.
good luck, it's a great (FUN) little board.

Lol, i thought i read that right the 1st time but just went to edit it back to 80lbs...
don't sweat it, KEK...
you have all the info you need.
ok, at 120lbs ftw:
either buy a blue, orange and white set of Khiro bushings
or the comprehensive $30-ish dollar kit and (imo) whatever 78a wheels you fancy
(70mm zigs are good to me - tho i like 83a at my 190lbs)
and fool around w/ the bushings - even mix and match tops and bottoms - til you
find something that really sings for you.
it's more deduction than rocket science, you'll get it dialed.

Re: rayne timeline trucks?
okay last thing. would the set-up i'm looking for be too twitchy?
like.. the fastest i've gone is like 15 mph cuz i don't like downhill and carve, never straight down. and my usual hills being 10 mph range carving.
would it be able to hold 15 mph? 20 mph? 25 mph?

Re: rayne timeline trucks?
if you're nervous about "stable", i'd suggest a 5.0 bennett + 129mm RTS, or "bit more stable", a 139mm RTS/X combo.
they're both REALLY fun on this board.
4.3/106mmRTS is pretty quick and less forgiving but "what doesn't kill us"... right?
i'd personally pick the "middle-ground" if i were you, (129 RTS + 5.0) as it provides the most
room to maneuver and a good reference-base for further experimenting, imo in the long run.
this sh1t is relative, KEK... you'll find what you like in time, don't stress, mate.
best,
-jake.
