longboard snowboard

i was talking about longboarding before class and my sci teacher was like o you snowboard

is there a longboard version of snowboarding
does it do the same thing a longboard does (turn better faster ect)

its like a snowboard, but its on the internet. and it goes in forums and starts threads that really contribute nothing to anything. and then people read it, and wonder why someone hasn't shot you.

Alpine Snowboarding...longer learning curve than softboots but the turns and the speed are so much fun
