Question Another Newbie in need of help!

Hi, I am new here and I have been scoping out long boarding for a while now, I short board quite a bit but I want to get a long board for transport and fun. I live somewhere where there aren't too many hills, but the ones we have are narrow, i guess i am looking for something to ride on the sidewalk and on a few hills too.

I really don't want something too too long, I am only 5'4 and about 100lbs (im done growing)... I am looking for a smooth ride set up with easy turning, I'm not too concerned with price either. I had a look at some custom built decks, does anyone have any experience with this guy? Roggs Custom Made Longboards

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

Haha yeah the guy who makes the Rogg's boards is a forum member (Loki440). I don't own any of his boards but there are many people here who can vouch for their beauty and performance.

Yes, PM Loki440 if you're interested in a Roggs. I dunno if he sells completes yet, but he can still give you advice on what trucks and wheels to get.

A Roggs mini dancer would be awesome. Loki builds sick boards

Lots of really good completes at > Mile High Skates <. A good place to start is the > Supercharger <.

    Here's a few more.

    - Bustin: > Complex <, > Spliff <

The Complex is my go to board and my first board. Good for commuting and cruising. If you get more stable trucks you can use it for small hills w/o worries, the Gullwing M1's are not a stable as I would like.

Loadeds are nice boards. I just bought a 42" vangaurd, although they do make a 38". Its a terrific commuter board. It handles like a dream and very flexy for a nice solid ride.
