BUYING FIRST BOARD need 2 know if this is good.

Hi im from new zealand and live in a fairly hill suburb and live within sk8ing distance of some cool hills.
I'm seriously eying up the GFH vulture 38" for the cutouts etc. I'm just wondering if it would make a nice cruiser board, but with downhill capabilities. I wont be Balls out bombing but just carving down them. my m8 has a 46" pintail that ive ridden but its too flexi for my liking, and too long.
I will eventually do it up as well. Reds bearings and new wheels etc.

it will be a good cruiser fsho but im not too sure if its fit for DH.

i believe the site says the flex is medium so it will have decent flex.

lots of flex = not good for downhill

looks like a good board though

cool thanks for that well im goin into the sk8 shop 2 day 2 check out some others but if they are too expensive ill just buy the vulture and get a new deck later on, because the hills i would be going down aren't all that big and steep. my friends pintail is well flexy but he still carves down some pretty decent hills im not really gunna be in it for insane speed tho.

Sounds like the Earthwing Superglider is the perfect board for you.

I know theres a thread listing all of the online shops that you, being in NZ, have access too.

If you find that, I'd suggest looking through those sites. It will give you more variety, and most likely more quality in your choices.

hey thanks alot guys yea i did look on the us websites that ship worldwiude but i can get this brand new gfh board 4 190 in my currency instead of 300 overseas. so ill most likely get the vulture and gradualy do it up. thanks all 4 your help

I use this board to hit the hills. Of course as most fishers will say your set-up does a lot for you. It is a great all around board. For my more serious downhill I use a board that I pressed from 11 ply maple. It is stiff as hell and I have some randall dh trucks on it.
