i use a skullskates bill danforth, it was about 30 dollars canadian cheaper than other boards like the rayne slide deck.

I have been looking at a powell that is only like 75$ here, which is like half the price of the agent.

I'm happy with my gullwing 180s, but i assume any wide truck would work as well, like indy or trackers.

don't cheap out on wheels, because if you want to learn the super technical slides, wheels that you like are key. try lots of peoples boards, personally i havent found anything better than rainskates yellowjackets.

eastbilt square tail, it's like $30 and much better than a standard skate deck (much wider). Then some cheap noname longboard trucks from blanddecks.com and a pair of earthwing slide a's and you have a full set up for under a hundred.

first i must say that i think earthwing makes the best slide deck, i love mine..

if you want cheap though. just get a wide street deck, indi 169s and used spitfire street wheels (they really slide well)

Get the eastbilt 9" square tail board and slide A superballs. You can cheap out on everything else; but spend the extra $5 and get steel bearing spacers.

Edit: spitfires are also totally decent slide wheels.

check your local skateshop and see if they have a generic Pool board shape....it should be pretty cheap

get some indys (awesome trucks) and some 99a minilogos with mini logo bearings

that should be pretty cheap for a complete and when you get better and kill your mini logo wheels get some better slide wheels

most like the earthwing slide a's but there are other wheels that i feel don't get the love that they should as slide wheels.....Good luck

i would also suggest a normal skateboard deck, a CCS, they are like 25 bucks, double kicktail. my friend street skates, and that's what he buys.
To skate or to longboard, there is no question.
